Two Fox Cabins & RV’s is located in the heart of beautiful La Veta, Colorado

Offering newly refurbished cabins with reasonable daily, weekly, or monthly rates.

Whether you are looking for a romantic long weekend, a family vacation, or just a few days away from the hectic city lifestyle, you will relax in comfort, and enjoy all the Cuchara Valley Region has to offer. Making Two Fox Cabins your “base of operations” will put you right in the center of the action, even if that is watching the foxes meander through the property, sitting on the bank of the Cucharas River listening to nature, or spying the deer wandering through the area with their fawns trailing behind.

Looking for a little more action?

  • Take the train through the valley
  • shop the quaint “artsy” town of La Veta

  • Visit the many choices of historical sites
  • museums
  • picturesque vistas throughout the valley.

All of our cabins are sparkling clean, well appointed with “most” of the comforts of home, and you will wake refreshed and rejuvenated.

2015 – The years continue to go by. This year will bring many changes to Two Fox Cabins. First, and most importantly, we are adding three new cabins along the river. These will be brand new cabins with full kitchens and bathrooms and will sleep up to six. Hopefully, they will be delivered and I will have time to furnish them before the season officially starts.

We also are continuing on with our landscaping plan. We have removed the asphalt driveway in front of Cabins 1 – 3, and revamped the parking spaces. They are to be landscaped with individual seating, fountains and gardens for each of the cabins to make them feel more separate from each other. We can’t wait for you to see them!

We are also putting new metal roofs on the remaining buildings.

Please take a few minutes and view some of the past seasons’ pictures, notes, and accomplishments.

Cabin # 9 was “almost” finished last year, now it is completely done. When we opened it on July 26th of last year, it was vacant for only one day through the end of the season. Check out the new pictures of all of the cabins.

When you visit, be sure to check the schedule for cook-out nights (we are planning on every Tuesday through the season) and plan to join the rest of the guests for some fun and great food.

We are also planning on including a continental breakfast with your stay. There will always be hot oatmeal or grits or biscuits and gravy as well as waffles, toast, etc. Doug had to do away with his weight room to provide space behind the common room for the breakfast nook.

Some quick statistics from last season to share with you; 85% of our guests were repeats. We ended the summer season with 94% occupancy for 2014. Things are going in the right direction!

We are looking forward to seeing our old friends this season as well as make lots of new friends!!
